The Oxford Teachers Academy

Co-created with young people and their families, Oxford Teachers Academy is a public charter high school in San Mateo County, California. OTA students spend half of their time in the community completing real-world internships, and then use these experiences to design think their way through social issues that matter most to them. Teachers use Oxford-style tutorials to connect academics with these service projects. OTA is now partnering with senior faculty at the University of Oxford to find a way to educate the next generation of teachers from around the globe.
