About the Position

The Intensive Case Manager reports directly to the Supervising Counselor Advocate . The Intensive Case Manager will provide holistic case management to survivors of human trafficking and be part of a team committed to the restoration of each survivor. The ideal candidate for this role has training and experience in providing trauma-informed care and working with individuals with trauma. The candidate can also complete administrative tasks related to daily work promptly and professionally. This position requires the candidate to be fluent in Spanish.

The Client Services team is the cornerstone of Restore’s direct service efforts and includes program managers and other Intensive Case Managers under the direction of the Director of Client Services. The team works primarily with adult clients of all genders who have experienced sex or labor trafficking.

This is a full-time position requiring a minimum of at least 35 hours per week. The shifts are generally Monday through Friday, 9-5 (lunch hour included), but they may vary to accommodate organization and client scheduling.


Specific Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive case management services for a caseload of up to 23 survivors of trafficking through advocacy, education, and resource coordination.
  • Conduct ongoing strengths and needs assessments, safety planning, crisis-prevention plans, impact assessments, and individualized service plans with clients.
  • Participate in administrative and operational tasks to ensure quality service delivery and fulfill the organization’s mission.
  • Complete required documentation in a timely and professional manner.
  • Practice trauma-informed, culturally and linguistically sensitive, survivor-centered practices in all interactions with clients, staff, service-provider organizations, and other stakeholders.
  • Attend weekly individual supervision, peer supervision, and other required team meetings.
  • Ensure adherence to HIPAA requirements as well as APA, ACA, and NASW ethical guidelines.

Requirements

  • Affirm the Nicene Creed and attend a Christian church
  • Fluent and comfortable in providing clinical services in Spanish
  • Experience in conducting bio-psycho-social assessments, crisis intervention, resource coordination, and case management
  • Success in roles requiring execution of multiple tasks while responding to multiple priorities and ability to prioritize client’s needs
  • Experience working with individuals impacted by trauma and working with immigrants and/or other individuals navigating systemic challenges
  • Proficiency in trauma-informed care, survivor-centered practices, and culture-humility
  • Excellent relational skills and engagement with survivors
  • Strong soft skills, including resilience, adaptability, empathy, humility, active listening, collaboration, and problem-solving
  • Advanced in computer skills, organizational skills, and attention to detail
  • Strongly believe and support DEI in organizational cultures and direct services
  • Deep commitment to the healing and well-being of survivors of trafficking
  • Degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, or a related field

Preferred Qualifications

  • MSW, MHC, MSW-LP, MHC-LP, LMSW, LMHC, or LCSW

Compensation

The salary range is $65,000 -70,000. Job Location

This job is based in New York City and is an on-site position, requiring a minimum of 2 days in our Midtown office
