As we build our next wave of innovation, we’re forming a dedicated AI team— and looking for a hands-on AI Experience Manager to lead the charge.

About the Role

The AI Experience Manager is a strategic and technical leadership role within our new AI team. This position combines product thinking with hands-on experience in AI technologies to help integrate AI into PortX’s products and internal processes. You’ll be instrumental in shaping and delivering AI-driven initiatives—leading by example, collaborating across functions, and translating complex AI capabilities into real business value.

Key Responsibilities:

AI Strategy & Product Integration

• Drive the vision, roadmap, and implementation of AI capabilities across PortX’s product suite and internal tooling.
• Evaluate emerging AI technologies and recommend strategic applications that align with business goals.
• Translate business problems into practical AI solutions, working closely with Product, Engineering, and Customer Success.

Hands-on AI Innovation

• Lead by example in applying generative AI, prompt engineering, and automation tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Copilot, Claude, Cursor, etc.) to accelerate product development and process improvement.
• Prototype and deploy AI-enhanced features or internal tools, with a focus on fast iteration and measurable outcomes.
• Evangelize AI best practices across the organization and foster a culture of experimentation and learning.

Team Leadership & Collaboration

• Act as a hands-on leader within the AI team, mentoring and collaborating with developers, designers, and stakeholders.
• Perform technical evaluations, lead design discussions, and contribute to solution architecture for AI-driven features.
• Ensure AI initiatives are ethical, secure, and aligned with compliance and data privacy standards.

Process Improvement & Enablement

• Identify opportunities for AI to streamline engineering, product design, documentation, and support workflows.
• Support internal adoption by providing training, guidelines, and reusable frameworks or prompts.

Skills and Experience Required:

AI & Technical Proficiency

• Strong hands-on experience using AI tools such as ChatGPT, Claude, Copilot, or other LLM-based platforms in a product or development setting.
• Familiarity with prompt engineering, AI APIs, and automation workflows.
• Comfortable prototyping and deploying lightweight AI solutions using scripting or low-code environments.
• Understanding of model capabilities, limitations, and evaluation techniques.

Product & Leadership Mindset

• Experience leading cross-functional initiatives involving product, engineering, and business stakeholders.
• Proven ability to define and deliver product enhancements powered by AI.
• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills with the ability to manage trade-offs and prioritize effectively.

Collaboration & Communication

• Excellent communicator with the ability to convey complex AI concepts to technical and non-technical audiences.
• Experience working in agile environments with cross-functional teams.
• Passionate about driving innovation, change, and continuous learning..

Highly Desired:

• Experience in fintech, banking, payments, or data integration platforms.
• Background in systems architecture, automation, or internal tools development.
• Exposure to cloud-native environments, APIs, or enterprise software design.
