Your Role at Orb:
Orb is building software-hardware-integrated air platforms. This position will help turn autonomous aircraft into communications relays using the most advanced software-defined radios and antennas.
Key Responsibilities
- Antenna Design
- Testing and Signal Validation
- Test Component Manufacturing
- Radio Design/Integration
- Supply Chain
Desired Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent demonstrated experience.
- Demonstrated history of building high performance, SWaP optimized antennas and receivers.
- Strong Understanding and ability to model Electro Magnetic Interference for electrical and embedded systems.
- Proficiency in reading electrical schematics and using test equipment (oscilloscopes, multimeters) to troubleshoot issues independently.
- Understanding and applying Software Defined Radio, EMI, EMF, Back EMF, and SWaP concepts to accomplish goals.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to manage multiple critical projects in a dynamic environment.
- Willingness to take on additional duties as required.
