Senior Platform Engineer

What You'll Be Responsible For:
- Data Integration: Build and optimize large-scale data pipelines that process high volumes of candidate and employee data across platforms like Workday, SuccessFactors, and Greenhouse.
- Platform Connectivity: Lead development of integrations with external HRIS and ATS systems using APIs (REST/SOAP) and message queues.
- Infrastructure Ownership: Design, maintain, and evolve our AWS-based infrastructure to support scalability, reliability, and performance.
- DevOps & Tooling: Manage CI/CD pipelines, automate deployments, and improve system observability through monitoring and alerting tools.
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Partner with Product, Support, and Implementation teams to ensure our infrastructure meets product and operational requirements.
- On-call Rotation: Participate in the on-call schedule to maintain uptime and support critical services.
What We're Looking For:
- 4+ years of experience as a software or infrastructure engineer, ideally with experience in a high-growth or startup setting.
- Proficient in Ruby on Rails and familiar with async processing tools like Sidekiq and Shoryuken.
- Strong DevOps and infrastructure-as-code expertise (Terraform preferred).
- Deep experience with AWS (ECS, EC2, S3, Kinesis, CloudWatch, Route 53, etc.).
- Experience building or maintaining large-scale integrations with 3rd-party APIs (REST, SOAP).
- Strong understanding of secure data practices (SOC2, PII, GDPR, OWASP).
- Experience with CI/CD tooling (Semaphore, GitHub Actions) and monitoring platforms (Datadog, OpsGenie).
- Excellent debugging and troubleshooting skills in distributed systems.
