About Flourish Fund

Flourish Fund is a venture philanthropy organization seeking to catalyze large-scale social innovation for human flourishing. At their best moments throughout history, followers of Jesus have changed the ways society cares for the most vulnerable – unlocking the possibility for more people and communities to flourish. We believe this transformation can happen again in our lifetime, and generous givers can fuel this change.

Our first initiative, Flourish: Children & Families, focuses on reimagining foster care and strengthening vulnerable families through strategic philanthropic investments. We are guided by the conviction that the church has unique institutional, communal, and spiritual resources to address fundamental problems of relational brokenness, creating sustainable, redemptive change through both local implementation and national field-building efforts.

Position Overview

The Community Lead serves as Flourish Fund's local ambassador and relationship builder in Fort Worth, TX, in either a full-time or part-time capacity, building authentic relationships and helping identify strategic investment opportunities for meaningful impact in the local child welfare ecosystem. This role requires someone with deep community connections, a collaborative spirit, and the ability to bridge diverse stakeholder groups including churches, nonprofits, and public agencies.

This position is ideal for a respected community leader who is known to faith leaders, nonprofit executives, and local funders, and who can help Flourish Fund understand the local landscape and identify potential organizations that can sustain long-term collaborative efforts.
