Job Description:

The DCX Budget Analyst will work as a full-time employee for a growing business based in the United States. You will get a chance to learn new skills as well as demonstrate skills you've learned in the past. You will be responsible for closely following the instructions and processes outlined by the company.

The daily tasks will vary so it will be necessary to be very flexible in this position. Other necessary characteristics of the job include having a strong attention to detail, ability to work well with co-workers, and a desire to learn new work skills.

Role Details

  • Industry: Outsourcing | Promotions

  • Work Shift: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM CST

  • Workdays: Monday through Friday

  • Written and spoken English skill: Very Proficient

  • Salary Range: PHP 40,000.00 - 50,000.00

Job Responsibilities

1. Budgeting and Forecasting

  • Assist in data gathering, development and consolidation of annual and mid-year budgets and forecasts, working closely with the cost center managers.

  • Support P&L forecasts, both near- and long-term, ensuring alignment with company goals.

2. Variance analysis

  • Track spending against budgeted amounts and analyze variances to ensure expenditures stay within limits.

  • Review budget reallocation requests to ensure policy compliance.

  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual budget reports, summarizing variances and identifying potential areas for cost control or adjustment.

  • Generate monthly budget-to-actual review reports for cost center managers and consolidate their feedback, addressing inquiries as needed.

3. Stakeholder Collaboration

  • Act as a liaison between finance and department heads to ensure alignment and understanding of budget policies and guidelines.

  • Facilitate the review and approval process for budget reallocations with key stakeholders.

  • Work with the Accounting department to maintain accurate records of approved reallocations and providing ongoing reports to monitor budget adjustments and policy compliance.

4. Ad-hoc

  • Support the FP&A team in conducting financial reviews, presentations, and discussions with cost center managers and senior leadership.

  • Assist and coordinate with the Data Project team for various process improvements.

  • Drive initiatives to enhance budget processes and overall FP&A efficiency.

Additional Job Requirements

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or any related field.

  • 1-3 years post-graduate experience in budgeting, financial planning, or financial analysis; doesn't need to be an accountant.

  • Prior experience in managing company budgets, tracking expenses, and ensuring alignment with company goals and alignment.

  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy, with experience conducting variance analysis and financial modeling.

  • Proven experience collaborating with cross-functional teams and building strong relationships with department heads.

  • Effective communication skills (written and oral), with the ability to present financial information to non-financial stakeholders in a clear and concise manner.

  • Proficiency or familiarity with Workday or related cloud systems.

  • Proficiency in most Microsoft Office Applications, specifically Word, and Outlook.

  • Strong working knowledge using Excel, pivot tables, advanced formulas etc.

  • Additional certification (CPA or CMA) is a plus but not required.
