Position & Description
This position is responsible for performing a variety of jobs to support our Vehicle Operations team, including transporting vehicles with our (amazing) tow truck, processing the intake of vehicles & title management, and helping out with facilities in our garage. By executing these responsibilities with excellence, this position will generate the resources that are necessary for ChangingGears to achieve our mission. Job Duties & Responsibilities
Pick Up Donated Vehicles
• Provide “that experience was so awesome, I’m going to tell my friends about ChangingGears” level of service for vehicle donors.
• Coordinate pick ups – Includes scheduling with Development Coordinator and vehicle donors.
• Complete vehicle pick ups – Includes driving/towing in with ChangingGears’ tow truck and outsourcing occasional tows to towing partner.

Intake Vehicles (Donated, Purchased and Returned)
• Research and enter vehicle specific information in ChangingGears’ databases.
• Prepare and manage physical vehicle files.
• Transfer vehicle titles, working closely with the title office and donors.

Support Vehicle Operations
• Coordinate maintenance and repairs for ChangingGears’ tow trucks.
• Take cars to auction.
• Sell vehicles to scrap yards that are not appropriate to sell to clients or the public.
• Tow cars back to Repair Program clients if no repair is performed.
• Facility support – Exterior maintenance, Maintain/clean shop

Other Duties & Responsibilities
• Assist Vehicle Director when necessary

• Help execute marketing plan efforts
• Assist with fundraising events when necessary
• Attend client celebrations for ChangingGears and CityLink Center
• Other duties may be assigned as appropriate

Job Requirements
Experience
• High School Diploma or G.E.D. required
• Sales and customer service experience preferred.
• Large vehicle diving experience preferred (RV, Box Truck, etc.)

• Conduct that is consistent with the values of ChangingGears.
• Willing and able to drive ChangingGears’ tow truck.
• Willing and able to become a Notary.
• Willingness to occasionally adjust hours to accommodate the needs of the job.
• Ability to effectively manage a wide array of tasks, projects, and responsibilities.
• Ability to work productively in an unstructured environment with frequent interruptions.
• Basic computer skills, specifically ability to use Google Apps, Salesforce, and G-Suite
• Ability to communicate via email, phone, and text, etc. with professionalism and enthusiasm.
• Valid drivers license.
• No more than 2 moving violations and/or at-fault accidents on driving record within the past 2 years.
• No drug or alcohol related convictions on driving record within the past 5 years (DUI/DWI).

Physical Requirements
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Have full body mobility and be able to twist, turn, bend at the waist, and squat.
• Willing to work outside in extreme weather and temperature conditions.
• Must pass pre-employment drug screening and background check.

Time Commitment and Classification • Full Time
• Hours are generally Monday through Friday between 8am and 5pm.
• This position is salaried exempt and reports to the Vehicle Director of ChangingGears.

Compensation
• $45,000 to $55,000 salary based on experience level
