Job Description

Summary:

We are seeking a hands-on and strategic Senior Product Lead, Platform to drive the transformation of our product offerings. This role is a blend of execution and strategic leadership, providing subject matter expertise and guidance to the product team while overseeing the product portfolio across the platform. As a key contributor to platform growth, you will drive product development, ensure alignment with strategic goals, and foster cross-functional collaboration. Healthcare product management experience is essential for success in this role, requiring a deep understanding of customer needs, industry trends, and product lifecycle management to deliver impactful solutions. This position is ideal for someone seeking expanded responsibilities within product management, focused on executing the product roadmap and supporting the team’s efforts to deliver on strategic objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Platform Subject Matter Expert: Oversee the product portfolio across the platform, ensuring alignment with strategic business objectives and market needs. Drive the evolution of the platform through a focus on innovation, scalability, and customer satisfaction.
  • Strategic Roadmap Management: Develop and execute a highly technical and customer-centric product roadmap. Collaborate with engineering and Client Success teams to deliver features that address complex technical requirements and customer needs.
  • Integration Strategy: Shape the roadmap for integrations, working closely with customer technical leaders to design and implement customized solutions that seamlessly integrate blockit’s platform into their existing software stacks.
  • Customer Collaboration & Insights: Act as a key interface with customers to understand their specific requirements, use cases, and pain points. Translate this feedback into actionable strategies and product improvements.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with engineering, design, operations, sales, and Client Success teams to ensure product goals are clearly defined, timelines are met, and deliverables meet quality standards.
  • Mentorship & Team Development: Provide guidance to the product team, fostering skill development and empowering team members to achieve high performance in delivering quality products.
  • Innovation & Continuous Improvement: Drive enhancements and innovation within the platform and integrations. Stay informed on industry trends and identify opportunities to refine the platform’s capabilities and expand its value proposition.
  • Data-Driven Decision Making: Define and monitor KPIs and success metrics for the platform and system integrations. Use data insights to inform decision-making, optimize offerings, and measure the success of product initiatives.
  • System Integration Documentation: Create and maintain detailed system integration documentation for internal teams and external partners, ensuring clarity and alignment across stakeholders.
  • Product Synchronization: Oversee the synchronization of product releases with system updates to ensure a smooth and seamless user experience for customers.
  • Market & Customer Insights: Gather customer feedback and monitor market trends to refine strategies, improve existing solutions, and identify new opportunities for innovation.
  • Stakeholder Communication: Act as the primary point of contact for platform-related updates, providing transparency and alignment across internal teams and external stakeholders.
  • Platform Optimization: Continuously evaluate and improve the platform’s functionality, scalability, and performance to meet evolving customer and market demands effectively.

Qualifications

Skills and Abilities:

  • Enterprise-Level Expertise: Deep understanding of enterprise-level healthcare products and integrations, including technical and operational complexities.
  • Strong Leadership: Ability to mentor and guide product teams while balancing strategic and execution responsibilities, ensuring alignment with company goals.
  • Product Strategy: Expertise in defining and executing product strategies that align with business objectives and customer needs.
  • Agile Expertise: In-depth understanding of Agile principles and tools like Jira, ensuring efficient product development cycles.
  • Roadmap Execution: Proven ability to execute complex product roadmaps in a highly technical environment.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Proven ability to work with design, engineering, marketing, and other departments to drive product success and foster alignment.
  • Data-Driven Mindset: Strong analytical skills to define, track, and act on KPIs, using product performance and market data to continuously improve.
  • Documentation and Communication: Strong verbal, written, and documentation skills to clearly convey integration requirements and processes.
  • Problem Solving: Critical thinking and problem-solving abilities to identify challenges in product development and collaborate with teams to find effective solutions.

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field preferred
  • 7+ years of experience in product management, including overseeing multiple products or platform-based environment is required
  • 5 years of experience in enterprise-level healthcare product management is required
  • Proven experience working in Agile environments, managing product roadmaps, and collaborating with cross-functional teams is required
  • Experience working in a SaaS, healthcare technology/IT, or healthcare B2B environment is required
  • Experience working in a startup environment is desirable
