Position Overview:

We are looking for an enthusiastic and reliable Bakery Delivery Driver to

join our team. The ideal candidate will ensure the timely and safe delivery

of freshly baked goods to customers, ensuring top-notch customer service

and maintaining the quality of products during transit.

Job Title: Bakery Delivery Driver

Location: Namayemba

Reports to: Business center manager

Job Type: Full-Time

Key Responsibilities:

● Delivery of Products: Safely deliver bakery products (such as

bread, pastries, cakes, etc.) to customers, retailers, or stores within

the designated route and timeline.

● Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service during

deliveries, ensuring customers are satisfied and represent the bakery

in a positive manner.

● Vehicle Maintenance: Maintain the delivery vehicle in good working

condition, ensuring it is clean, well-stocked, and compliant with safety

regulations.

● Route Management: Plan and follow efficient delivery routes,

minimizing delays and ensuring timely delivery of orders.

● Order Verification: Verify orders before departure to ensure

accuracy and completeness of all bakery products being delivered.

● Inventory Management: Assist with loading and unloading

deliveries, ensuring bakery goods are handled with care to avoid

damage during transit.

● Communication: Report any delivery issues, delays, or customer

complaints promptly to the supervisor or manager.

● Record Keeping: Maintain accurate delivery logs, including delivery

times, customer feedback, and any discrepancies.

● Safety Compliance: Adhere to traffic laws, safety protocols, and

company policies while driving.

Qualifications:

● Valid Driver’s License: A valid driver’s license( CM ) with a clean

driving record.

● Experience: Prior experience as a delivery driver, or in a similar role,

is preferred but not required.

● Physical Stamina: Ability to lift and carry heavy items, including

trays of bakery products, up to [Insert weight] pounds.

● Customer Service Skills: Strong communication skills and a

friendly, professional demeanor.

● Time Management: Ability to manage time effectively and follow a

schedule.

● Attention to Detail: Ensure all deliveries are accurate and on time.

● Basic Vehicle Knowledge: Ability to perform basic maintenance

tasks such as checking tire pressure, oil levels, etc.

Preferred Skills:

● Experience in Food Delivery or Bakery Operations: Familiarity

with handling perishable food items.

● GPS or Route Planning Tools: Experience with navigation apps or

GPS devices.

● Multi-tasking Ability: Able to manage multiple deliveries in a day

while maintaining a high level of service.

Physical Requirements:

● Ability to sit, stand, walk, and lift for extended periods.

● Ability to drive for long durations.
