Position Summary: As an AsOne tailor your purpose is to create, alter,

repair, and modify clothes to fit individual customers. You will use your

expertise in sewing and garment construction to ensure that clothes fit well

and meet the specific preferences and requirements of their clients. You will

work with various fabrics and materials, providing personalized services

that cater to both aesthetic and functional needs.

Role Responsibilities

● Taking measurements: Accurately measure customers to ensure

garments fit properly

● Cutting and sewing: Cut fabric based on patterns or measurements

and sew pieces together using sewing machines and by hand

● Fitting garments: Conduct fittings with customers to ensure

garments fit correctly and make adjustments as needed

● Altering clothing: Modify existing clothing to fit customers better to

repair damaged garments

● Designing: Create original designs or modify existing designs to

meet customer preferences

● Pattern Making: Develop patterns based on design specification or

measurements

● Fabric selection: Advise customers on fabric choices based on their

preferences, the garments purpose, and seasonal considerations

● Maintaining equipment: Keep sewing machines and tools in good

working order through regular maintenance

● Quality control: Inspect finished garments to ensure they meet

quality standards and customer expectations

● Customer service: Provide excellent customer service by listening to

customer preferences and ensuring their satisfaction with the finished

product

Position Qualifications

● Diploma / certificate in tailoring with 2 years experience working in a

tailoring shop, or fashing store

● Proficient in sewing techniques and using sewing machines

● Ability to create and modify patterns based on design requirements

● Attention to details

● Creativity, ability to design and customize garments to meet customer

preferences

● Time management, efficiently manage time to meet deadlines and

handle multiple projects

● Effective communication with customers to understand their needs

and preferences

properties, and appropriate uses
