Position Overview

The Housing Director shapes the residential experience of our youth by creating an environment of dignity, opportunity, and love. This role leads program development, staff management, and operational excellence across all 91 Place residential facilities.

**Objectives of this Role

Leadership & Program Development**

• Design and implement comprehensive residential programs aligned with 91 Place's core values
• Lead collaborative program evaluation and improvement initiatives
• Develop and maintain detailed program documentation and success metrics
• Create innovative solutions for resident challenges while maintaining program integrity

Staff Management & Development

• Provide clear direction and support to House Mentors and Case Managers
• Implement robust staff training programs focusing on youth development and crisis management
• Foster a culture of continuous improvement and accountability
• Facilitate effective communication between clinical, workforce, and residential teams

Resident Care & Programming

• Oversee development and execution of Individual Service Plans
• Implement structured life-skills and personal development programs
• Ensure consistent application of resident policies and procedures
• Create clear transition plans for residents entering and exiting the program

Operations & Compliance

• Manage program budgets and resource allocation
• Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements
• Maintain detailed documentation of resident progress and program outcomes
• Oversee facility maintenance and safety protocols

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Psychology, or related field
• 5+ years experience in residential program management
• Proven track record of staff development and team building
• Strong crisis management and decision-making abilities
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Valid Indiana driver's license with satisfactory MVR
